On the Premium account, do I get the keys or is the activation automatic through activation tools, the same as when I buy credits?

Hi friend! Paid accounts (Premium/Seller/VIP...) is only for activation support services (check key, get confirmation id). If you want to use Activation Tool, you should add credit to your account.
