Check Windows key version without losing activation?

Hello,
I want to check a few Windows online keys and their versions (description), but I don't want to lose activation times, is that possible?

If I use kichoat24h PIDMS and choose "Description Only" will that not lose activation times, or is there another method to check the Windows version?

Does that not use up the activation times if it is a online key? Should I use the "Description Only"-mode?
